    We have the Boone Hall Lowcountry Oyster Festival coming up this weekend, and although they don’t serve local oysters, it is always a good time.  The festival really gives a lot of people the opportunity to be “introduced” to oysters and I think that’s great.  However, if you’re not familiar with the difference in taste between our local bushel of Bulls Bay oysters and a box of the Gulf single oysters then I recommend that you buy some of the gulf singles at one of the seafood retailers in town and order several bushels of local oysters from me and do a taste test!  Invite all of your friends and let me know the results of your oyster roast taste test.
