I've communicated with dozens of people inquiring about me shipping them oysters and I've told each person that I'd be happy to make the oysters ready for shipment as long as they pay for the cost of packaging and shipping...that's the problem...a bushel of oysters is the size of a 48 qt cooler and weighs upwards of 50 pounds and needs to be overnighted...the cost of shipping is more than the cost of a bushel. Nobody has ever called back and said "Yes, I'll do it." Keep in mind that these are not single oysters, they are clusters, and some of the best tasting oysters around; however, they are a cumbersome package to ship. If you'd like to get some then I can give you the address for UPS or FedEx to pick them up and we can make further arrangements.
